Our First Holy Communion

 

The First Holy Communion is an important step in a child’s life. This importance has been confirmed through their commitment to preparation and participation in learning about Holy Communion and developing a deeper understanding of its meaning. Please keep our children taking their First Holy Communion this year in your prayers. Last year we were delighted to see Maci receive her First Holy Communion at our local Church- Our Lady Help of Christians and St. Denis. This year, Felicity (who runs the First Holy Communion programme) came into school to speak to all children about the First Holy Communion programme. We are particularly delighted that we have eight children who will be starting the First Holy Communion programme in October 2023. We cannot wait to welcome them and their families to our parish community.

October 11th 2023: Update. The children attended their first Holy Communion lesson and came into school buzzing. They were particularly proud to bring in their special books that they received.
